Dave Livermore has been studying, playing, performing, fixing, buying, selling, teaching and finally building guitars for as long as anyone can remember. Being nearly a half century old, that’s a long time!
He attended Augustana University in Sioux Falls SD, earning a BA in Music Education and has been teaching high school guitar and orchestra near the Minnesota Twin Cities since 1998. He’s living the American Dream with his wife, four kids, two dogs and suburban home. The shop is located at his home in a detached 2 car garage.
It was in the early 2000’s that he visited a luthier shop in New Mexico and discovered two things. First, making guitars is not so hard, if one has the right tools, knowhow, talent and motivation to do so. Second, no one has all of those things. So the last fifteen years have been spent feverishly trying to get all of those things to line up.
